Our Gran Reserva is a wine for special occasions, elaborated using carefully selected grapes of Tempranillo, Mazuelo and Graciano varieties.
Aged in French and American oak barrels for 24 months, it is then sealed in the bottle where it continues to develop for another three years.
A controlled alcoholic fermentation and a careful oxygen supply, bring out the intense ruby red colour of the wine.
Concentrated aromas of plums and cherries, dried fruit and wood, this wine offers a balanced palate with hints of toasted cocoa beans and spices, with a fresh and persistent finish.
Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature and the supply of the necessary oxygen are responsible for the color of the wine. Pumping over was carried out daily to extract the best of the grape. The malolactic fermentation took place during the winter 2010/2011. Aged in American and French oak barrels for 24 months and has subsequently completed its maturation, remaining in the bottle for more than 3 years in our cellar.
Recommended to combine with roasts, game stews, lamb stews and aged cheeses. Also with dark chocolate sweets or nuts.
