Our Reserva wine is elaborated using carefully selected grapes from Tempranillo and Mazuelo varieties.
Aged in French and American oak barrels for 18 months, before to be bottled for 18 months more. Controlled alcoholic fermentation and a carefully tailored oxygen supply bring out the dark, red cherry color of the wine.
Its daily pumping-over process allow to extract all the quality compounds presents in the skin. Modern in style, it is a wine with round, structured tannins. It offers aromas to morello cherries and spiced of noble wood, notes of toffee, blueberry jam, blackberry and black liquorice with an intense and spicy retronasal aroma.
Alcoholic fermentation at a controlled temperature and the supply of the necessary oxygen are responsible for the color of the wine. Pumping over was carried out daily to extract the best of the grape. The malolactic fermentation took place during the winter 2010/2011. It has spent 18 months in American oak barrels (60%) and French (40%) and more than 20 months in the bottle before going on the market.
Recommended with game, red meats, roasts, meat stews, strong cheeses and also with bitter chocolates.

Cherry red, very clean and with dense and colored tears.
Aromas of cherries and spices of noble woods are perceived. In movement notes of toffee, black fruit jam, blackberry gum and black liquorice are perceived. It leaves a balsamic memory and some fresh tobacco.
Fresh and voluminous attack, with an enveloping mid palate that fully fills the mouth. The tannins present are structured and round. Long aftertaste.
